🍎Autumn Gallery🐻

🍎 Welcome to our Autumn Gallery! 🍂✨

What a wonderfully busy and colourful week it’s been as we’ve celebrated all things autumn! From crunchy leaves and sparkling pinecones to bug hunts and magical wands, our classroom has been full of creativity, curiosity, and outdoor adventure.

Our little artists explored leaf painting, experimenting with different shapes and textures to print, splat, and swirl autumn shades across their paper with beautiful results!

Out in the yard, we discovered some real autumn creatures, including a friendly spider who became the star of the day. This led to an exciting bug hunt in Forest School, where we peeked under rocks and leaves to find worms, woodlice, and other tiny friends enjoying the cooler weather.

Inside, our autumn role play tubs became tiny worlds for our peg people to explore, while our autumn sensory tray challenged the children to separate pasta, spaghetti, and pinecones using tweezers, great for building fine motor skills. We also set off on an autumn walk, collecting colourful leaves and sticks for later crafts, and used them to practise leaf snipping, turning them into an imaginative batch of “autumn soup”!

We worked on autumn pencil control, tracing lines, shapes, and pictures to strengthen our fine motor skills, a perfect end to a week filled with discovery, imagination, and golden autumn joy.

Our Autumn Gallery celebrates a week where the children truly embraced the magic of the season — learning, laughing, and creating together every step of the way. 🍁🪵🕷✨
