🍎Welcome to our Into the Woods Gallery 🌳
This week, our classroom has been transformed into a magical woodland wonderland as we explored our topic, Into the Woods! The children have been buzzing with excitement, discovering the animals, plants, and mysteries that live deep in the forest.
From scooping and pouring in our woodland pond to colour mixing muddy water, the children loved searching for hidden creatures among leaves and pinecones. Using loose parts like twigs and fallen leaves, they built cosy little homes for woodland animals, sparking plenty of imaginative play.
We also got creative, making adorable paper plate hedgehogs, fox masks, and even chocolate-scented play dough creatures like snails and birds. The children explored footprints with scented dough, practised threading woodland animals, and giggled as they built funny mismatched creatures like owl-headed foxes!
Our days have been filled with teamwork, problem solving, and lots of laughter, whether playing I Spy with Pip the Apple, introducing Ted to our circle time, or simply enjoying the magic of the woods indoors.
