🍎About Us🐻

🍎Our care is carried out between the hours of 11.30am to 3.00pm.

🍎A typical day for your child will always involve free play, where all activities can be freely chosen and accessed by the children.

🍎We offer circle time where children gather for songs, games and rhymes, or to watch educational videos that enhance the weekly theme. Adult-led activities are carefully planned out to enhance children’s learning and to develop new skills, while being mindful of the children’s individual targets and involving a child-led approach where possible. Children have the opportunity to play both inside and outside, and all play promotes health and wellbeing, as well as encourages children to enjoy spending time outdoors regardless of the weather.

🍎Children have their lunch around a table within the classroom, which promotes good social interactions between children and practitioners. All children attending this session must bring a drink with them, and should bring either a packed lunch or pre order a meal from Newydd Catering.

🐻The school offers an after school club that operates within the Trelawnyd Little Learners room, which is divided into two sessions. The stay and play session runs from 3.00pm – 4.00pm, and children are encouraged to participate in the set activity for that day (e.g. art club, dance club etc). If children would prefer not to take part, they have full access to free play using the resources in the room.

🐻From 4.00pm – 5.15pm, all children are given set activities and the opportunity for free play. They are provided with a healthy snack with different snacks on offer each day, providing an opportunity to experience choice and try new things.

🍎Our setting accepts the Childcare Offer. We are registered to deliver the full 30 hours for eligible 3 year olds, which consists of 10 hours of early education with Ysgol Trelawnyd and 20 hours of topped up childcare per week within Trelawnyd Little Learners. This commences the term after the child’s third birthday.
