🍎 Welcome to our Remembrance Day Gallery! 🌹
Our classroom has been full of thoughtful creativity as we learned about Remembrance Day and explored the importance of remembering together. Through art, teamwork, and play, the children discovered the story behind the poppy and created their own beautiful tributes. ❤️
We began by working together to build a giant poppy, carefully filling in the spaces and matching colours from the paper poppies in the tray. The children showed wonderful cooperation and focus, proudly seeing their big red flower take shape! 🌺
Later on, our creativity continued with tissue paper poppies. Using tiny tissue paper balls, the children filled their poppies with bright reds and deep blacks, chatting happily as they named the colours in both English and Welsh, what clever little learners! 🏴🖍️
To finish, we explored some colourful water play, using pipettes and cups to scoop, pour, and mix colours into a magical “poppy potion.” 💧✨ The children loved experimenting and watching their reds swirl and blend like real petals in bloom.
Our Remembrance Day Gallery celebrates creativity, teamwork, and reflection, where every drop of paint and piece of tissue helped our children learn about kindness, remembrance, and working together. ❤️🌹
