🍎 Welcome to our World Nursery Rhyme Week Gallery 🎶✨
What a joyful, music-filled week we’ve had celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week! Each day, the children brought their favourite songs to life through imaginative play, creativity, and teamwork.
We leapt into the jungle with 3 Cheeky Monkeys, climbing, sliding, and making cosy monkey homes, before splashing into Incy Wincy Spider, building water spouts and watching our spiders bravely climb and tumble.
On Old McDonald’s farm, the children explored small world play and storytelling, and became bakers for 3 Currant Buns, carefully crafting dough treats with currant buttons and cherries. They also made their own wool wrapped bobbins during Wind the Bobbin Up, concentrating beautifully.
Our counting skills shone in Little Fish, where the children worked together to find numbers 0–10, and creativity bubbled over in I Had a Little Turtle as they made bubble wands and decorated their own Tiny Tim turtles.
Rainbows brightened the classroom during I Can Sing a Rainbow, with pattern drawing and early writing in English and Welsh. Together, the children completed a big bus puzzle during The Wheels on the Bus, singing as they worked.
Role-play blossomed in Miss Polly’s Dolly, where our little doctors helped Dolly feel better, and construction skills were put to the test as they built houses for the 3 Little Pigs and sturdy walls for Humpty Dumpty.
We ended the week with singing, numbers, and lots of smiles using Pip’s song spoons.
Our World Nursery Rhyme Week Gallery celebrates a week of joyful learning, imagination, and song! 🎵✨
